by the Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation with a gift of
$50,000 from the Ironman World Triathlon Corporation.
This Honda ATV and Kubota RTV900
have been purchased with funds from
the Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation.
Much of the Big Island of Hawaii is inaccessible by standard Fire Department vehicles.
The addition of Gators, ATV’s and the Kubota RTV greatly increases the capabilities of the
Hawaii Fire Department. It also decreases the amount of time required to reach accident victims.
This table displays a variety of equipment that has been purchased with funds from the
Daniel Sayre Memorial Foundation. Included are underwater gear, helmets, rope systems, etc.
